The Migr'hycar Project was launched to develop a decision-making tool in the event of accidental hydrocarbon spillage in rivers and estuaries.

The main application is to protect water intakes from contamination, while enhancing emergency and crisis management procedures.

Research funded by the French National Research Agency ANR, with the support of the French Environment and Energy Management Agency ADEME, as part of the PRECODD programme for Ecotechnology and Sustainable Development.
