Task Description

The Migr'hycar Project involves six specific Tasks split into three main Units:

  • The Scientific Unit deals with experimental evaluation of hydrocarbon physicochemical behaviour (Task 2) and the development of oil slick modelling technology (Task 3)

  • The Operational Unit covers the design of a specific user interface (Task 4) and system integration into water-intake operator warning and crisis management schemes, including on-site approval (Task 5).

  • In support of these developments, two vital tasks for future implementation of the Migr'hycar system:
    > Task 1 is essentially a prospective analysis of resource-monitoring and warning technique development in relation to changes in regulations.
    > Task 6 will address the economic feasibility of the Migr'hycar system as a whole.
